Woodinville Private Select Single Barrel “Leeroy Jenkins"

Picked by Breaking Bourbon and Keg ’n Bottle

Woodinville Whiskey Co., WA

60.39% ABV/120.78 Proof, NAS

Cask 2659, Bottle 165

Eye: Maple syrup, thin rim and droplet legs.

Nose: Wow what a nose - dark caramel and fresh vanilla beans. Smells thick, no burn. A bit of fresh grape.

Palate: Grape-forward, mouthwatering, some char and tobacco. Black licorice sweetness, not herbal. Some heat, but sweet too. Mouthfeel is velvety, oily, and warming.

Finish: Caramel and dark fruit linger as a happy pair.

Overall: Really nice pour - a solid barrel proof with a great balance of heat and sweet. Try it for the mouthfeel alone, buy it for the flavors.
