Glenfarclas 15 YO

Highland

46% ABV, 92 Proof

Eye: Yellow gold. Medium rim and medium length legs.

Nose: Super fruity - orchard and red fruits in particular. Sweet with a hint of alcohol and no smoke.

Palate: A mild burn up front is quickly overtaken by tons of orchard fruit, especially yellow nectarines and apricots. Mouthfeel is silky and medium-bodied.

Finish: Slight oak astringency, long with some char in the background.

Overall: Very fruity through and through, nice sweet-heat balance between flavor and proof. A pleasant, light sipper with a great mouthfeel.

Rating: 5.8
