Weller Full Proof Bayway Pick
Weller Full Proof Bayway Pick
Buffalo Trace
57% ABV/114 Proof
NAS, Wheated Mashbill
Eye: Liquid gold. Thin rims and legs.
Nose: Similar profile to the 107 pick, slightly hotter (as expected). Smells rich with baked vanilla and cornbread sweetness. Woodier comes after some air.
Palate: Peppery spice, lots of orange and honey, and a back-of-the-throat heaviness that’s nice but unexpected. Mouthfeel is super creamy and goes into baked goods, bread crusts, and some semisweet chocolate.
Finish: Finish is long - a tingle on the tongue lingers as chocolate gets more developed with each sip.
Overall: Same as the 107 pick - wish I knew about this when it was available! Really fantastic pour.
