West Fork Whiskey Co. Launches Old Hamer 10-Year Bourbon
Indiana distillery honors pre-Prohibition Old Hamer brand with newest iteration
WESTFIELD, Ind. (April 3, 2025) - - - West Fork Whiskey Co. is excited to announce the release of its Old Hamer 10-Year Bourbon featuring a historically Hoosier mash bill of 99% corn, and 1% malted barley. For more information, visit www.westforkwhiskey.com.
“Distilled, aged and bottled in Indiana, Old Hamer 10-Year is a perfect example of what makes our signature 99% corn to 1% malted barley recipe so desirable,” said West Fork Whiskey co-founder and head distiller Julian Jones. “It is sweet, sophisticated and easy to drink to the last drop.”
Bottled at 100 proof and aged for 10 years in new charred American oak barrels, West Fork Whiskey Co.’s Old Hamer 10-Year Bourbon is proudly distilled with 99% corn and 1% malted barley, closely resembling that used by the Hamer family as an ongoing tribute to Indiana's whiskey heritage. This extremely high-corn bourbon is an uncommon mashbill that can be found throughout the Old Hamer product line.
The oldest Old Hamer product released to date, this subtle-yet-sweet bourbon starts with notes of bubble gum and caramel on the nose, which carry through to the initial sip. Flavors of caramel and vanilla coat the palate before giving way to mint and toasted oak.
West Fork Whiskey Co.’s Old Hamer 10-Year Bourbon (100 proof/50% ABV) is offered at $84.99 MSRP and is available for online shipping and at select retailers throughout the brand’s distribution footprint.
About West Fork Whiskey Co.:
High risk. High corn. Hell-bent Hoosiers. West Fork Whiskey Co. is a different kind of whiskey brand, challenging what “good” whiskey is and highlighting 100% Indiana grain-to-glass spirits handcrafted in – you guessed it – the heart of Indiana. Founded in 2014 by Indiana natives and childhood best friends Blake Jones, Julian Jones and David McIntyre, West Fork Whiskey Co. is a shared dream born from a bold leap (after many late-night drinks). The trio spent years in the financial and medical fields before cashing out their 401Ks to create a whiskey brand — it’s not a 150-year-old distillery, and they’re not making your grandpa’s whiskey. Instead, they’re making approachable, affordable, high corn whiskey you can enjoy any day of the week. In addition to West Fork’s approachable bourbon and rye products, the distillery celebrates Indiana’s rich distilling heritage with the revival of the pre-Prohibition Old Hamer brand, with a 99% corn and 1% malted barley mash bill. Part of their community-centric approach to bring people together around good drinks and goodwill, the spacious Westfield, Indiana, facility hosts a variety of events, and features an on-site restaurant, The Mash House, and the Stave Cocktail Lounge.
